I had a really bad night...

Decided (roughly 2 hours ago) to run down to Wal-Mart to get my dinner. Before I left, I decided to call my dad to tell him something. No audio in or out, great.

So, I head out. On my way back, I just got off the highway, and I ran out of gas. Of course, I don't know what street I'm on, so I get out and find the nearest street sign, (making sure that I "unlocked" the door when I get out). I'm walking back, and see an officer had pulled up behind me to check my car. I quickly notice, that my car's door is LOCKED, with the lights, radio, hazards, and overhead lamp on.

Of course, my phone is toast at this point. He let me use his to call AAA. To my luck, they are backed up (probably due to the crappy roads).

Thankfully, the officer was nice enough to drive me to the hardware store to get a gas can, then to the station to get some gas (I'm thankful I had money on me). Then drove me back, unlocked my car, and got a jumper pack to get it going (it died, obviously).

The moral of my story is, please be nice to your police officers. You never know when you might need their help.

Oh, and I forgot...

The can cost me $15, and was one of those crappy "No Spill" cans. Obviously, it spilled some. Now my hands stink of AUTOMOBILE FUEL (avoided using the word "GAS" so nobody can make the obvious joke )

Hey Charlie, hope you and the family are doing well.
I hope the same.

So are you officially done at the "adult high school"?

Where have you been, what have you been up to, how is your health???

Edit: just saw your post from 2/14 - very sorry to hear of the tough times

Thankfully it didn't come to that haha.

The cherry on the cake of this whole thing, is that in southwest MN, it's all fields. No trees, no lakes, just fields. So, of course, I stood in a field for this whole thing. Forgetting that fact proved to be costly, as my floor is all muddy.

Good thing I have a reliable vaccum and access to google.
