My variants continued...

And here are a couple errors I've come across:
Warren Spahn has three variants, but the off-white colored swatch with the seam is actually a Bob Gibson swatch. I don't know if everyone is aware of this, but if you shine a bright light through these cards you can see a description of the swatch, such as "W. Spahn Gray"... this Spahn card reads "B. Gibson White".

The next error in my collection is the Jorge Posada "upside-down" swatch. If you compare the pinstripe on this card to the regular card you can clearly see this swatch is from the inside of the jersey.

Another card I have that's pretty cool, but I don't know if I'd call it an "error card" is my Hoyt Wilhelm. It is and un-altered card that is supposed to have a plain swatch in it. If you look in the upper left hand corner, you will see a small piece of a patch.

Sorry…that is a fake patch in that card and it is worthlessMy dealer friend staying with me this week has just picked up the 2005 Playoff Absolute Memorabilia Tools of the Trade Jumbo Patch TT-110 Cal Ripken PSA 5 SN # 201 / 250
the jumbo patch is a sick piece of the Jackie Robinson 50th anniversary patch, I'll be uploading a picture in a bit
asking $500 ... PM if interested and I can be the middle man if there is a deal to be made. not looking for a finders fee, just looking to help out my friend and this community
I'm not going to justify the price as correct, excessive or cheap. obviously the price is based on the patch. it is what it is.
not a problem, he thought it was potentially fake of course, because it's not a prime patch and so on, and numbered to 250,Sorry…that is a fake patch in that card and it is worthless
AGREEDSorry…that is a fake patch in that card and it is worthless
It is a common tactic to get these fake patch cards PSA graded to trick consumers into thinking they must be real. However, grading companies don’t even look at the relic at all, so the PSA grade means nothing. That is a guaranteed fake patch card, there’s not even a sliver of a chance it’s real.not a problem, he thought it was potentially fake of course, because it's not a prime patch and so on, and numbered to 250,
but it's also got a PSA grade on it. so it's up to the buyer to decide if they think it's fake, not up to the seller to prove it's real
it's for sale as is, and if nobody buys it, then he's stuck with it
