So Sharpies aren't the auto weapon of choice anymore?

If the cards are prepped before hand, sharpies work just fine.

I don't have a place in town to buy Lumocolors so I have to settle for sharpies.

I honestly dont know why people like Lumocolor. If you want your autographs to scratch then go ahead. I used them one time and will never use them again.

Pretty sure most cert autos are signed with them as well.

I think orange refs signed in orange would look badass.

Try to sign any chrome card with a color other than blue or black in fine tip and see what happens. It looks horrid. That is why Topps doesn't use other colors.

Don't know what you are talking about.

.

That was signed IP in green fine point staedtler.

This is exactly what I am saying. That green on green looks awesome. It would just be cool to see a change of pace, and have a random colored auto thrown in here and there.

As I said before though that stock isn't Chrome.

Im sure they are but Ive had nothing but issues with Lumocolor. Best marker ever was vis a vis. They stopped making them 7 years ago. I'm so happy I purchased 6 boxes a month before they stopped production. I haven't bought a recent certified card for my PC in almost 8 years.

Are you sure its the Lumocolor permanent? The non-permanent will scratch... I made that mistake the first time I bought them. Permanents are by far the best autograph pen out there IMO.

It was the permanent. Im stuck on vis a vis and Ill be disappointed when mine are all gone. Once you use vis a vis everything else is second best.

personally myself, i still prefer to use a finepoint sharpie if im getting IP autos on cards and a regular sharpie if im getting an 8x10 or poster signed.

I bought the Lumocolor's a couple years ago as i was hearing that this is what some people liked using nowadays and while the Lumocolor's were ok, after a while i just went back to a good ol sharpie, as that is what i personally prefered.
