I thought this would be a good idea. I am building a 1960 PSA 7 set and :benson: bought an 8. I thought I would gift it, but it occurred to me that there is no central list of what the members are collecting.

There is a player collector list on the baseball board so I will do the same here. Post what sets/teams/players you collect in vintage. I will update the first post to keep a rolling reference. If you have a site for your collection, list it and I will put the link in the post.

I guess I can be considered working on the 1958 Topps set, since I picked up 4 commons in the past couple days, and I don't really seem to have any other interest in buying anything else for vintage (unless he is a TTM signer).

I would like to build it raw, but I know that I will have to shell out $$$ for the slabs of the bigger cards for authenticity (if anyone would fake a 58, I just have the Mantle All-Stars in mind at this moment). I think it would be somewhat of a "blast from the past" to build it raw... I am looking at all grades, as long as they aren't freakishly bad (they can show use and be OC, but I don't want them missing half the card).

Main focus is finishing a 1956 Topps Baseball psa 7 or better. (At this time I need cards from the second series 101-180). Already got the Mantle

Side focus are:

T206 Boston Nationals

1955-1973 Roberto Clemente base cards in PSA 7 (already got the '55 and '56)

Good luck with the '54 Bowman set. I started that one a couple of years ago but quit when I decided that I don't have the patience to put together sets. But I still think the set might be the most underrated baseball set of all time.

My current list of stuff I'm working on:

E95 Philadelphia Caramel (SGC 10 - 30) currently 64%
1933 Goudey (poor to VG, PSA 1-3) currently 24%
1951 Bowman (SGC 50 - 84) currently 36%
1956 Topps (SGC 60 - 84) currently 10%
1962 Topps (EX and Better, mostly raw) currently 18%
1971 Topps (EXMT - NM, mostly raw) currently 10%

Players: Luis Aparicio (mostly raw, EX and better)
Roberto Clemente (SGC 84 - 88)
Ted Kluszewki (mostly raw, EX and better)
Tony Perez (PSA 7 - 8)
Joe Morgan (PSA 7 - 8)

I will trade (or sell) any modern I have for vintage.

I have 2008 - 2010 Bowman (Draft, Chrome) not complete sets, many dupes
2010 Allen and Ginter set (1-350, hand collated)
2010 Topps Series I&II set (1-660, hand collated + #661 Strasburg)

Photobucket has scans of the Autos and Serial numbered modern cards for sale or trade

I just pieced the 1977 set together with vending boxes. I got a lot of cards left over. I got commons, semi-stars and a few stars left. I have around 300 cards left. Let me know what you need and I would gladly send a gift package or two your way. :D
