I'm going to guess that this is your top 12

1. Barry Bonds
2. Alex Rodriguez
3. Roger Clemens
4. Sammy Sosa
5. Manny Ramirez
6. Mark McGwire
7. Jose Canseco
8. Rafael Palmeiro
9. Gary Sheffield
10. Nomar Garciaparra
11. David Ortiz
12. Jason Giambi

Oh leave the guy alone. At least he's making an attempt to add more diversity to the forum. I'm sick of seeing Bowman 2010, ebay problems, and bitching all over.

the only diversity he adds is the fact that he's the only one that thinks your not working hard unless you take steroids

Who cares, it's his opinion. If you don't like something, then you don't need to comment. I just don't understand how most of the people here are adults, but have the maturity level of a six year old. You sir, are no exception.

Cry us a river. This guy is all over these boards trashing people's players and starting crap all the damn time. The guy champions cheaters/steroid abusers for Christ's sake, and we are supposed to take his top-100 list seriously? He's just reaping what he has sown. No one is stopping him from making his top-100 list.

So you stoop to his level? You are no better than he is. Go back to being an internet tough guy, clowns like you are a waste of my time.

@Bodiaz: Delahanty is another guy that dies too young. He could have been one of the best hitters in all of baseball for many more seasons.

Is he trashing anyone now? No. Is he starting crap now? No.

I think some people WANT to get him going.

Nice to see Sosa, but 84? Come on! :p On the topic of Slammin' Sammy, it still amazes me that he won the MVP award in the year McGwire set the (at the time) new record.

For all of the whining and complaining, his list seems to be well thought out and pretty decent so far. Doesnt change the fact that he is a ******, but you have to commend his list so far.

Phish, I agree. The mystery still surronding his death is amazing. I am shocked HollyWood has not made a movie of his life!? I think it would make a great movie.

ffgameman- Sosa had a great carerr! I think with his # of strikeouts though, you have to grade him down slightly. I know it looks low, but when you see the top 50 and so on, it is really hard to find a place for everyone. All of these guys were great, and alot of them are interchangable. I would not argue to much with a list than had him in the 60s or so.

Thanks for the comments guys! I am glad people are enjoying this. It was fun to put together!

How am I an "internet tough guy" for posting a list of cheaters??? It was basically a tongue-in-cheek jab and you are here acting a fool. Calm the hell down already and let it go. You made it something WAY more than it was. bodiaz himself didn't even seem to mind it, so what's up your ass.

You were the one who escalated crap with the cry me a river statement. I'm just sick and tired of seeing a lot of members talk **** all day and night. It's over with right here, but one last tip, grow the hell up.

What I find humorous with all this back and forth nonsense is the other day, myself and a couple of other people got into a debate (healthy one, no name calling) on a thread that was up to about 14 pages I think. I think all but the first two pages were "Nice Pull!", "Nice Hit", and "What offers are you getting?". In any event, that thread lost its purpose at about page 3. We were off topic yes, but having a meaningful baseball card discussion with no name calling. Of course, the "clique" comes in and starts complaining about the thread going off topic and its the OP's thread, and yada yada yada. I made a comment back to one of the people complaining about the thread going off topic because, as per usual, the guy had to be an ass about things. My post got deleted and the mod made a post shortly there after stating to start a thread on our topic. And, of course, the "important" thread quickly fell off page one.

Fast forward to this thread. The OP has an interesting, informative, and entertaining thread going. YET, all these people are allowed to trash it, take it off topic, and call names. I'm curious as to why the double standard, which really isn't even the case with the thread discussed above since we were having a decent conversation and the original topic was dead anyway while this is just elementary school bullying?

In any event, end of my rant. Let's get back to an interesting topic and see some more pics of vintage in here!

Was there seriously a post that said Honus Wagner was top 5 of all time? Yikes, lol....Give me Tris Speaker over him anyday but neither should be top 5.

And Jays_Cards, while I agree that Musial may not be top 5 (but def is top 10)....Musial>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Mantle
Well Musial wasn't on America's bandwagon team like Mantle was ;)

Not exactly. He had 64 homeruns that season, so you have to subtract the times he knocked in himself.
