The 2025 Colorado Rockies have played 8 games, and as a result they are 7 games out of first in the NL West.

The NL West is a division in Major League Baseball that somehow still allows the Rockies to partcipate in it.

The Rockies have won this division exactly zero times in their entire 32 years of existence.

I'm sure you see where this thread is heading.

Oh by the way, here is the complete list of their 2024-2025 offseason moves:

Over the last three years this team lost 94, 103, and 101 games. And THIS is what they did in the offseason to "get better". If you recognize any of these guys names (other than Blackmon and Marquez), you are hard core indeed. And I respect that. But you're also spending waaay too much time watching the waiver wire...

...and with MLB doing an NBA style draft lottery, the Rockies have an extra thing to lose each year. . . pulling their name out of the hat! :ROFLMAO: I can't believe the 85 win Mariners have a better pick than the 61 win Rockies so I'm definitely here for the sh!tshow.

I wonder who will lead the Rockies in WAR this year, do you think Mickey Moniak will figure hitting out?

Tovar? Sure. Toglia? Sure. Loudon Wainwright III? Sure. I have no idea. You could put any two first and last names together and I'd be like, yeah bruh, I think that guy's got potential to lead this club in WAR.

...and if the Rockies somehow win (which they won't) you should change your name on here to "Dinothedinosaur" or "Mr.Dino3.0" :)

Double no way man! Coors Field is by far the best part of the Rockies.

Dinger definitely ranks #2 though...from the bottom!

Correction. I stopped to think about this for a second. Here's the actual bottom of the list of things that are good about the Rockies.

#1. Dick Monfort

#2. Dick Monfort

#3. Dick Monfort

#4. Dick Monfort

#5. Dick Monfort

#6. Dick Monfort

#7. Kris Bryant

#8. Dinger

Ok I concede Coors field is beautiful, but I can’t abide this Dinger hate! I bought a Dinger pin the last time we were there

Right now in the 8th, it's Milwaukee 10, Colorado 2. So I'm gonna go way out on a limb and say the Rockies will be 2-9 after this game, in a 3-way tie for worst record in MLB.

This club usually comes out and performs somewhat respectably - and I say somewhat - for the first month or two of the season. But this year they're just like aw, screw it, why should we lead our fans on?

The good news is that Bryant got a hit tonight. Bringing his season output up to 6 total bases in his 30 at bats.

Hey now, why no Larry Walker? He was the first Rockies HOF'er! Not quite the legend that Helton was, but a close second...

I mistakenly thought his MVP year was with Montreal, my mistake. He might have been better than Helton at his peak. My biggest Larry Walker memory though was his great WS in 04, if he had better teammates he'd of won MVP in that too.

Man. I did not remember AT ALL that he went to STL after the Rockies. Let alone that he actually played in a WS for them. I'm serious. This was news to me, 20 years after the fact.

Well then.

Anyway, he did have a good series that year. Too bad the Cards got swept. I do remember this one as the year the Red Sox finally won after the Curse and Buckner and yada yada whatever. But seriously folks. Larry Walker was there?

Mind blown.
