I have been waiting and hoping for a nice case to display the card below for what seems like a couple years now. I originally had it in a 25 count box to store but then I couldn't look at it. Then I cut a 8x10 magazine top loader down to size and was nice to look at but I always worried I'd drop it or kids would accidently knock it down. When BGS introduced the oversized slabs they indicated a smaller 6x9 slab was in works but they never mentioned it was available till I got email at the begining of the year (I originally emailed them about a year ago)

Anyway for those looking for way to protect and display their book cards. Just got this back from BGS:

it actually looks pretty decent in person and much better then ones they first put in 9x13 slabs. If they made a 4x9 slab it would be ideal.

Hm? Not the most aesthetically pleasing slabbing. I'm sure the protection is top-notch, but I would need to see how this may be displayed? Is it thick to stand?

did they use an inner sleeve on these? I can't really tell from the scans.

It is about as thick as any of the standard BGS patch card holders.

Here is example using the ultra pro card stands (with 1 and 3):

Doesn't look like it but the card doesn't move around at all (i tried shaking it a few times).

Thanks for the illustrations. I think this slabbing (and consequently, the display) would be perfect if the description was horizontal, instead of the usual vertical.

Thanks for the extra pictures. It would be better if the holder was a little bit smaller, but it still looks like it displays nice.

I will wait for them or PSA to use a smaller holder. In the meantime, I am very happy with the way mine display using 2 super thick card holders.

there is a better way to display book cards. One guy sells these huge screwdowns at my local show. He sells them for $25 each, but they sure do make the cards look great, especially those higher end ones you want to protect. Its a black case made for foldouts, and its really thick, pretty heavy. Its got 4 big screws in it. I can scan my brothers if you want w/ the card in it.

Seen pics of those before. $25 seems like waayyy too much to me, but I guess when you've got the market cornered...

Don't get me wrong, i Don't use them, but when You have a really nice high end fold out of gehrig or ruth or anyone like that, or a sweet logo patch foldout or bat barrel, $25 does not seem like alot of fully protect it and display it very nicely

I'd love to see a scan or pic. I looked around for long time with no luck.
I've heard rumors pro mold was working on a holder but not sure if that
ever panned out. With more and more of these kind of cards popping up
you would think they would be more readily available.
