I've played Yahoo before and think it's decent but I'd rather get into a keeper league. What's the best site for this?

I cannot tell you how much I loathe ESPN. I've been on CBS for about eight years now and it is unparalleled for keeper formats. If you're doing a single season league, then any site will do. ESPN is too busy for me, so Yahoo is fine for a free league.

My auction/keeper league has used CBS for years now and have no reason
to look for a substitue as it does everything we need and then some.

+1. Unfortunately it wont be anymore if they have a baseball season that goes like the football season did. They had so many glitches this year and downtime with the game it really ruined. it. But, when their stuff is together, they are second to none, especially with the fact that you can play for money unlike the free ones on ESPN, Yahoo, etc.

Last year they had a couple glitches with live scoring, but live scoring does come free. Hopefully not too many glitches these year.

CBS is awesome. I am in a keeper league with the option for minor leaguers. It is great. We pay for it with cash prizes at the end. Auction style draft. I am broken forever now. I can't do regular drafts anymore. CBS from here on out for me

I've done MLB.com for the last 5 years or so, been fun and you can win some cash/prizes. Probably not going to do fantasy this year, too stressfull for a fun game

I've been playing for years as well. ESPN was by far the worst.

I'd settle for Sportsline or Yahoo. I prefer Yahoo though for three reasons (just my opinion):

1) navigation is much more intuitive - have never had to ask how to find something
2) the data is laid out better
3) iPhone apps actually work for Yahoo

Yahoo might not have the bells and whistles of other sites, but it is in my opinion the most functional, easy to use, and best looking fantasy site out there. It's even catching up with the additional features of other sites. You can now run keeper leagues and get free live scoring on yahoo. The only thing keeping it from being perfect is that it needs auction draft capabilities.

After starting at Gamedayritual.com in 2005...I now play nowhere else. I have played fantasy baseball every year with multiple teams/leagues/sites since 1994. Nothing else compares for me, their platform is just so much more fun and realistic. If you want a more serious fantasy baseball experience I suggest you head over there http://www.gamedayritual.com/baseball/index.aspx. It hasn't launched yet for 2010. The superior player bidding process (the free agent blitz, where multiyear contracts can be offered, which is ridiculously fun) as well as a mid-year draft for prospects, bonus for L-R matchups and bonus points that reward making a real batting order. you get to build your own ballpark, too. It is pretty close to being a real major league GM.

We have had an AL only keeper on CBS for a number of years and love it. Price is getting high but it's virtually bug free and easy to admin.

And now Yahoo has auction drafts
