And a beater 82 Team Checklist sheet that I will probably cut down into singles at some point, since the AD card is already cut out.

Luminaries is the one modern set i actually regard at the same level as playing days sets from Topps, Playoff, Fleer, UD, etc. It looks legit, classy and not gimmicky, like it will matter in 30 years. Got lucky and saw the #21 Jersey match passing by. Sad that its plain gray relics, but even the /3 versions arent cool patches in these, so,it is what it is. Another add to Jersey Number Junction.

Heritage High Black Refractors /75

Ohhhhh- I got flashback woodie with those = may need to pick me up a few boxes when I get cash just to enjoy 1970's feelings with 1990's technology mixed in and swirled around for 2025 goodness 🥰💥

Think I just experienced a cardboardgasm there folks = sorry but 1975 Topps is my All Time favorite Topps set 🤣🤣🤣

One of my more exciting Dodgerless mail days.

First off, could have posted this in the Dodger thread, but Cox is actually a dupe! I am winning duplicate Banty Red cards now. I MUST be nuts!

The next item is also a duplicate that I just discovered not that long ago. It was in a Mariners PC lot. However, it was clear when I got it that someone had trimmed it. Damn! Not that much time passed and another copy showed up. Never seen this is 45+ years of collecting and now 2 in a short time.

I don't know if it was part of the Ppesi Jr Mariners packages or maybe something they made for Dan for fan mail. Very cool piece. This one cost me quite a bit for a postcard of basically a no name! I hate to have to pay more than I prefer, but glad I won it and the money spent will be forgotten soon enough anyway.

Last item is just an incredibly cool action shot on the best card design of the set, is the limited Gold version to 5 copies AND is the autographed version. A wonderful card of not that long ago deceased Lou Brock. These cards look great in hand. Not sure the appeal can really be seen in the scan. The regular versions are silver and the typical gold cards are cool, but subtle. On the Memorable Moments subset, the silver portion dominates the card front, so the gold version really shows off.

1955 Topps All-American Jim Thorpe -- Iconic card of an athlete who transcended sports. Local show pickup. Wasn't looking to buy one, but decent eye appeal for the condition couldn't pass it up. Fair centering, strong colors, with some creasing, but just around the edges. Corners don't bother me as much as off centered cards.

Sold a few semi PC cards last night as well to help save up for a bigger purchase. I also added a 1964 Topps Berra, leaving me at 32 cards shy for my 1952-1969 Yankees run.

Reggie Theus and Cynthia Cooper. Another too dark background for a Topps archives card. The person who signed off on this card to be signed was a bonehead! The monikers is another Panini basketball autograph set that I have really grown to like, despite the odd color of the cards. The autograph show well at least.

Some random stuff, but the big hit today for me is my first Cole auto on a Montgomery design, which I like a fair bit. A couple more Philly autos, although nobody significant. Also didn't have Burnes auto yet either. Nettles is a Recollection. Billups is a new NBA HOFer for my collection, after watching thje Celtics documentary. The posters are from a Chicago newspaper. I like that kind of weird stuff, especially cheap.
