Actually these are pretty cheap. I have been picking them up at around $20.00 to $25 Of course when you get to the Stars and Semi Stars its going to cost you some coin.
Greetings one and all. I have been working on this Boston Rustlers team set for about 2 years now. I am missing one final piece to this puzzle which is a BAYARD H. SHARPE of the Boston Rustlers. I am having a really hard time tracking this last card down. I would like to find it in a PSA 4...
Awsome pick ups guys! I love the Mantle cards! The 34 Goudey is one of my favorite sets that I will one day try to put together but first, here are number 73 and 74 for my graded 1956 Topps set. I am now 21% complete.
Please enjoy.
Thanks, your Freese collection sounds great. The 55' Freese cost me a pretty penny, only because it was part of the HI series in 1955 Topps. I look forward to seeing your vintage collection grow.
With these it brings my total up to 72/340. Still a long ways off. Please Enjoy.
Edit: To say, great pickups everyone!
GrangerCollector: Great collection of Mantle cards!
Here are some more pickups for my set. I am now at 66/342. This week I kinda went overboard I think. I have some more auctions I am waiting on to finish. Anyways, please enjoy
Wow you almost have that set complete. Great job so far. I am looking forward to seeing all the Goudey's together in your bucket! You are on the final lap and the white flag is out! GL with the rest of the set!
Here are 3 more to add to the pile. Please enjoy!
On a side note with every card that I add to my 56' set I really like it even more. The artwork is fantastic! I really like the "in action" shots and also the backgrounds really bring the game closer. If I take a deep enough breath I probably...
Great pick ups everyone! I enjoy watching everyones collections grow! Keep up the great work.
Once again its time for me to contribute to the thread. Here is number 50 and 51 of my 1956 Topps PSA 7 set. 2 Milwaukee Braves so I can't complain. :D so enjoy.
Very Nice Bob Gibson card run! Congrats. GL with the Pee Wee Reese card run, looking forward to seeing cards of one of the greatest shortstops to play the game. The 53' Bowman color is one the best looking Bowman card ever.
Very nice pickups everyone! Here is one more to add to the growing pile of graded '56 cards! An ole New York Giant by the name of "Dusty" Rhodes.
I have almost reached the 15% mark which I hope to surpass soon. Still waiting on a few auctions to end in the next couple of days.
That is probably the best decision you have made in your entire collecting life. Good on you and I agree with what All Stars said, People have a habit of talking about things that they don't have. There are so many red flags on the play I would stay far away from anything that guy has or...
Jeff, those are some great pickups. Some of those cards got real class. I love the '55. It shows that it probably went into someone spokes or was in a big stack of rubber banded cards and stuck in the back pocket
That list is waaaaay to good to be true, a Baltimore Ruth       (there are fewer than 10 known to exist and this guy has one! I am half suprised that a t206-wagner isn't in the lot as well. It seems that every key card in the hobby is in that...
Do you have scans of these items? Its easier to judge if they are real or reprints by the scans? Is this an auction? In my opinion I would walk away because some of those cards in that lot are very hard to come by and very expensive with little to no experience in vintage cards you are more...
