Topps Platinum Anniversary canceled!?

I was hoping someone would have the ability of confirming or denying a rumor that was brought to my attention via Reddit. Apparently Topps is considering getting rid of the Topps Chrome Platinum Anniversary set. I am hoping this is just a rumor. I believe this set has been successful since its debut

Based on past releases, the 2024 set isn't due to be out for another 6-8 months. Plenty of time left.

I know it’s rumored to be on the chopping block, like Heritage Minors was. Since that was confirmed, I wouldn’t be surprised if Platinum Anniversary is gone as well. Stadium Club Chrome was another confirmed to be discontinued (not to be confused with the chrome parallel in regular Stadium Club).

Off topic a bit, but I would love it if Topps would chill on releasing so many damn products each year.
