Were the 1994 RC SPs inserted into 1997 packs all serial numbered?

eBay - New & used electronics, cars, apparel, collectibles, sporting goods & more at low prices

Here was the item from the previous owner

1994 SP Buy Back Auto Alex Rodriguez RC Autograph UDA | eBay

Also, here is one that ended awhile ago and the description is the same inserted rc but shows a hand serial on it.

(click for more descriptions and the picture since the picture I linked became broken)

Thanks but my question was, were they all hand serial numbered for the 1994 buybacks that were inserted? Notice the links I sent, one has no hand serial and the worthpoint one pictured has a hand serialed.

On the link I provided it states that the cards are serial numbered

They were serial numbered. Like George said. He did not say print run.

My question is didn't they release another 94 SP Buyback in a later SP set as well?

I have owned 5 of these in my many years of collecting ARod. In fact, I once owned the one on Worthpoint and I still have 2 of these. I'm not saying the one on ebay is a fake but I have never seen one without the serial numbering. I'm sure you are aware many scammers erase hand numbering in a attempt to renumber them with worthwhile figures like jersey number or 1 or whatever. It's been widely discussed how many different versions of the 2001 Bowman Chrome Albert Pujols there are out there with the card being hand serial numbered 5/500. Why does the card sell for $1200+ and then new seller offers it for less than half may be another question. Just sayin'

Is it possible that the one listed on ebay could be a UDA version and not the pack pulled one? For some reason I remember these being released again after the 1997 SP set. Possibly UDA? Would it have the normal green/maroon COA? Of course you can't search the hologram number on the UD website. I would think if it was a buyback from another year it would be numbered. Hmmm....?
I would really question why someone would remove the numbering on a card that would sell for $1200-2K. Doesn't make sense.

Also, on the one you linked to Worthpoint, the seller states that the hologram number is BAE22464. The one on ebay is BAE22390. So it would fall within the 94 cards produced if the holograms are sequential.
