I remember really liking that one as a kid because of his antics. Something about sitting on birthday cakes and stuff like that.
The Bronx Zoo has really wild stuff in it and is a great behind the scenes look into the clubhouse, but I think you are thinking of Jim Bouton’s Ball Four with Doug Rader sitting on the birthday cakes.

Both are great books.

I don't think I ever read Ball Four. Pretty sure there was some cake sitting in Bronx Zoo, but I could be wrong. It's been a long time.

I see books signed on the cover pretty frequently, but I have not bought one signed like that.

I have no idea how I mistyped this. I meant to say signed on the inside. It's like my mind was thinking one thing and my fingers were went in a completely different direction! Anyway, I'll upload pics in a bit.
