First off, sorry for the lack of updates. I’ve been really busy with work, and just haven’t had the time.
I thought I would take a few minutes now, and share some photos from the 2011 Blue Jay’s season. Some highlights, (for me anyways) so to speak. Let’s go!

I managed to meet up with Zack Hample. For those of you who don’t know who he is, you should check out his blog, linked above.
He’s a great guy. I can’t believe how much I enjoyed watching him snag balls. The effort he puts out is incredible. Here’s me and Zack:

A Year in Pictures
Jays vs. Rays 8/28 and 8/29
You might remember from an earlier post, that my friend Courtney’s sister was in a fast pitch tournament this past weekend.
Well, her team won game 1. It was a great game filled with fireworks.
The second game, didn’t go so well. They lost the second game, and ended up second. Still not a bad result.
I did have my camera, but for whatever reason, didn’t take any pictures. Ah well.
The following Sunday, Courtney were going to attend the Jays game against the Rays. We decided to invite her sister, Caileidgh, and Cail’s friend Ariel to tag along with us.
The 4 of us had a fantastic time. Unfortunately, the Jays didn’t. They lost 12-0. Yeah. Thats right.

This one is cool. It’s the very first pitch of the game. If you look closely, you can see the ball about 2 thirds of the way to home. The sad thing is, he crushed that pitch over the fence for a home run.

I also managed to get my ticket stub signed by Brian Jeroloman.
And that’s about it. With a final score like that, you can obviously tell that it wasn’t a very exciting game for Jay’s fans. However, any time at the ball park, is a good time, especially when you’re with good friends!
Courtney had to work Monday, so I invited my friend Katherine to join me. I am nota big fan of going to games alone, but since it was the last home game for over a week, I still would have gone.

It was a great game. Ricky Romero collected his 13th win of the season, Adam Lind hit his 23rd home run, Jose Bautista hit is 38th homer, and Kelly Johnson and J.P. Arencibia both went 3 for 4.
The Jay’s won with a score of 7-3.
