Some ebay sellers aren’t letting the fact that topps chose to number ALL of the aflac cards on the front to avoid issues such as this. Some guys still chose to claim that the aflac autographs they got in person are the actual “pack pulled” versions that come in 09 bdp with Topps certification. The versions on ebay that do not have serial numbering on the front feature autographs are either fake, or signed in person and are in no way certified by the Topps company. Thanks to FCB member Kentucky Derby for pointing out the douche baggery of ebay seller apm-cards who has many aflac autographs up that do not have serial numbering, but make the claim that they are pack pulled.
It should also be noted that apm-cards didn’t go completely overboard and stopped just short of an all out scam. There is a chance that the phrase “authentic pack pulled” is an oversight, as he did not take this to the next level and advertise them as 2009 BDP cards or fake a 3m hologram sticker on the back. I have no doubt that the autographs on these cards are real. But there is a big difference between a card certified by topps or another manufacturer and inserted into a pack from autographs obtained in person.
For real Aflac autographs, check out this ebay search
that will lead you to some real pack pulled versions.
The one on the left is autographed in person, the serial numbered one on the right was pulled froma pack of 2009 Bowman Draft.
