Comments: An ordinary name, an ordinary looking guy, a less than ordinary higher and an extraordinary story.  Read more here and you’ll find out why Tim occupies the number one spot on the list this week.  Sure, he’s just a reliever but he’s 5’6″ and throws 94…as a result, his Xfractors popped from $8 to $31 this week and J.P. Riccardi has to feel like he was right when he paid $100,000 for Tim to sign.

Comments: Originally thought to be “just another base card,” it has been realized that this card is SSP’d.  For those of you still interpreting the card acronyms, that’s Super Short Printed.  At one point in time, this card was available for a couple bucks like any other base card, now its available for $100-$200 bucks.  That’s a whole lot less available and a whole lot more hot.

Comments: Lets say you created a dictionary but instead of defining words by using other words, you defined them by using eBay auctions.  This would be facepalm and come to think of it, facepalm might not appear in a dictionary for other reasons, like the fact that its not a real word but that’s neither here nor there.  As more information has come out about perceived Heritage SSPs, prices have risen.  In the case of the A-Rod reverse negative that means $10 last week and $155 this week.
