1. Antonio Brown 2010 National Treasures Auto /99

Comments: Antonio caught a couple of TD passes in a preseason game and immediately started getting mentioned as a bigger part of the Steelers offense this year. Hines “Methusaleh” Ward is getting older and there are passes available for the catching. This was all it took for National Treasures RCs /99 to move from $15 to $50
2. The Cup Auto Patch Rookies /99

Comments: The Cup is always a hot product upon release and this is an exceptional rookie class in Hockey. That makes for an amazing combo and some jaw dropping sales prices. Subbans are hitting $1500, a Hall Redemption at $2500, Seguins at $1500 and the list goes on. You just have to hope you are lucky enough to get a chance to bust this limited release.
3. Bryan LaHair 2007 Sterling Auto RCs

Comments: Bryan is my age, that is to say, long removed from the age of prospectdom. None the less, 38 HRs and a PCL MVP award is enough to get one noticed. Bryan’s 2007 Sterling Auto rookies have done just that, got noticed. Last week they were going for $.99, one went for $7 this week.
4. Dayan Viciedo2009 Bowman Chrome Autos

Comments: Dayan is a guy who has had his ups and downs in the prospect world. In 2008 no ones Contenders Autos (Stanton, Posey, Beckham, Montero and on and on) sold for more than Dayans. Dayan fell on rough times for a while and card prices moved way down. However, recently Dayan was recalled to the White Sox and hit a HR right off the bat (punny, right.). Dayan’s Refractor Autos popped from $25 to $46.
5. Matthew Stafford 2009 SP Authentic Patch Autos /499

Comments: I recently had my fantasy football auction for the upcoming season. Matthew Stafford went for more than Jay Cutler (or the Human Turnover), Big Ben, Eli Manning and several other established quarterbacks. I was high on Stafford but didn’t pay up for him. I then preceded to watch him pick the Patriots first team defense apart that evening (insert your preseason disclaimer here) and was totally impressed. Stafford and the Lions have more weapons on offense than in ages and hopes are higher than Eminem’s posse after a rap battle. Staffords SPA autos moved from $150 to over $200 this week for a nice patch.
6. Mike Trout 2010 Bowman Platinum Autos

Comments: Mike is one of those guys who has exceeded expectations at every stop and that continues in the majors. When players get as hot as Mr. Trout collectors start looking for cheaper, more viable alternatives. That emerged in the form of the Bowman Platinum auto which moved from $28 to $45 this week.
7. Ben Tate 2010 National Treasures Patch Auto /99

Comments: Ben caught stealing (carries, when he was young). Name that awful reference (band is good, my reference is not. Neither is carry-stealing for a guy like Ben Tate and you have to wonder if some of that’s going to happen with Arian Twitterhead Foster and his mild injury. Some speculate it might as evidence of Ben’s 2010 National Treasures autos moving from $55 to $100
8. Miguel Sano 2010 Bowman Chrome Auto

Comments: The guy has 20 HRs in the App League and was born in 1993, enough said. Chrome Autos moved from $28 to $39 this week.
9. 2011 Topps Finest
Football On-Card Autos

Comments: These are downright gorgeous, a Julio Jones sold for over $200 /25, a Jordan Todman, yes you heard me, Todman, sold for over $50 and as you see more Mosaic and Superfractor on-cards come up for sasle, expect more of the same.
10. Alex Henery 2011 Leaf Rookies and Stars

Comments: Lesson one of collecting anything to do with college football, Nebraska sells good, real good. GIT R DONE. I know the Larry reference is lame but hey he’s not bashful about his Nebraska fandom. Alex’s cards as a kicker for the Eagles are selling extraordinarily well!
