Comments: From a golf perspective, you know what Rory did.  From a cards perspective, it was almost as impressive, these homemade rookie cards that literally weren’t selling for $1 a week ago now sell for $50 or more.  One can only speculate what a real, authentic auto would go for right now – it would be insane.  Seriously though, take the inside of your favorite Wheaties box, write Rory on it and throw it on eBay.

Comments: Tim pitched a shutout in Game 7 of the Stanley Cup Finals, it doesn’t get any bigger than that.  He had a huge performance on an enormous stage.  Last week, one of Tim’s Chrome Refractor rookies sold for $7, this week one sold for $60.  They’ll probably cool off pretty fast but his rookies are insanely hot now.

Comments: We have made no bones about the fact that you make this hot list when you trend prices upward week over week.  That being said, sometimes new cards roll onto the market and instead making a diver’s splash, they are more like Chris Farley doing a cannonball.  That’s exactly what Leaf’s Muhammad Ali Fight Worn Patch 1/1 Autos have done.  The first several have sold for over $1k and I think most expect them to sustain at that price.
