Not a very clever title, but my blog will be up every week on Wednesday. Short, sweet, and to the point. Today I am just going to give you an overview of what’s going on and how it’s going to go. Every Wednesday, I will be posting about sports and collecting. Obviously, it appeals to everyone because you visit a card collecting board and discuss collecting and sports.
Each week, we’ll take a look at different areas of collecting, whether it is player collecting, set collecting, team collecting, prospecting, vintage, or through the mail. It may focus on a particular player, team, or set any given week. We all have different areas that we collect in and some even overlap multiple areas. Even if an article isn’t covering something that you collect, it could help give you a better look inside that type of collecting.
While this is not another hot list, some weeks may focus on a particular player that is on a hot streak or having a great season. When a player gets the hot hand, it’s always fun to talk about and speculate. Such as Josh Hamilton; will he be able to continue to his production levels? Does he have a legitimate shot at the Triple Crown?
Next week, we’ll hit the first topic of discussion in this series. This will be ongoing and appear every Wednesday, so make sure to check it out and keep up with it.
