1a. Bubba Starling 2010 Bowman Chrome USA Auto

Comments: USA Chrome Autos have gone from interesting to scorching hot. We’ve been talking about it all week. This seems to have coincided with the release of Baseball America’s Top 100 High School Prospects list, on which, Mr. Starling was #1. He can sure play football and has signed to play for Nebraska but he’s likely going to play baseball. His base USA autos have gone from $15 to $32 in the past couple weeks.
1b. Blake Swihart 2010 Bowman Chrome USA Auto

Comments: Switch hitting, athletic catchers – yes, many prospectors like these types of players. Blake’s base autos have gone from $9 to $20 recently.
1c.Lance McCullers Jr. 2010 Bowman Chrome USA Auto

Comments: It isn’t like 97 mph fastballs get you noticed or anything like that. That’s what Lance has and his autos have popped from $6 to $14 recently.
4. Blake Griffin 2009-10 Auto RCs

Comments: I read recently “for a good time, look up Blake Griffin Dunk on youtube.” It’s certainly better than the illegible phone numbers you typically see scrawled into stall walls. Blake may make a run at the nickname “the Human Highlight Reel” because he sure is one. All of his autos are jumping including the Absolute /499 which moved from $57 to $76.
5. Jacoby Ford 2010 Topps Chrome Auto RC

Comments: Jacoby was a fantasy owner’s dream on Sunday. A kick return TD, a reception TD, rushing yards, you name it. His Topps Chrome Auto rookies went from $4 to $10.
6. Derrick Rose Rookie Autographs

Comments: Rose’s scoring output has jumped dramatically this year. He’s been a solid point guard both years he has been in the league but now he’s scoring more and at the end of the day, that’s what gets you noticed. Derrick’s SP Authentic Auto recently sold for $400, an all-time high!
7. Carey Price 2007-08 Young Guns RC

Comments: 14 wins and 4 shutouts thus far this year and a nice price spike to show for it. The ever popular Young Guns of Mr. Price has moved from $32 to $45 raw and from $80 to $100 in 9.5 form.
8. Dwayne Bowe 2008 Topps Chrome Auto

Comments: Last time we wrote the Hot List, these were selling for about $5, now its about $15 and all he’s done in the mean time is catch touchdowns at an alarming rate.
9. 2010-11 Upper Deck Young Guns

Comments: You get 6 of these per hobby box and pulls like Subban ($30), Hall ($50) and Eberle ($30) are available, its stunning the value of these.
10. 2008-09 Skybox Precious Metal Gems

Comments: Like their 1996-97 predecessors these cards are really starting to sell. The Nowitzki Green pictured above sold for $180!
