1. Aroldis Chapman2009 Elites & Chromes

Comments: Oink, the Cuban Missile’s debut was no Bay of Pigs, #1 – everyone knew about it going in – oh, wait. #2 – it lived up to expectations. As the radar guns flashed triple digits, $ signs flashed in prospectors eyes. BINs are being hit like crazy and Aroldis is the latest huge payoff for prospectors.

2. Ryan Mathews2010 RC Autos

Comments: Speaking of good debuts, Ryan has been looking great in the preseason and although everyone knows, “it doesn’t matter.” His cards are rising none the less. This classics auto that could be had for $40 a week or so ago, is now up to $60.
3. Jahvid Best Classics RC Auto /399

Comments: Speaking of rookie running backs, Jahvid looks outstanding in the preseason as well and just like Mathews, his cards are rising. The card pictured above rose from $16 to nearly $30 this week.
4. Matt Moore2009 Bowman Chrome Parallels

Comments: If we’ve seen it once, we’ve seen it a thousand times. Prospects who have very limited card issues jump even further when hot. Mr. Moore is a prime example. He’s racked up a ton of Ks in the minors this year and had a blue ref sell for $45 recently, up significantly from $27 the prior week.
5. Joey Votto 2002 Bowman RC

Comments: Base at $10, Chromes at $20, X’s over $100, Mr. Vottos 2002 Bowmans are flying just like his Cincinatti Reds!
6. Brandon Allen 2004 Autos & Parallels

Comments: First big league game for the season and bang! A Grand Slam, that will get collectors to look up and notice. Lots of BINs hit after Allen hit his.
7. 2010 Topps Football RC Autos

Comments: The biggest names, in limited print run, on-card and in different colored ink. These on-card autos are selling big for both the big names and the lesser names and once again Topps has a hit. That being said, buyer beware, these cards lose their luster a bit when the higher-end product hits the market.
8. Demar Derozan 2009-10 National Treasures Patch Autos

Comments: Tracy McGrady, Vince Carter and Demar Derozan? That’s what Raptors fans and collectors are hoping. These guys were all drafted with huge upsides and huge athletic abilities. Demar’s patch autos had been sitting near $130 but started to move up this week and BINs on nicer patches are being hit near $180.
9.Brandon Belt 2009 Elite Auto /610

Comments: These cards sold for a couple dollars out of the gate, last week they were selling for $30-$33 and now a few have touched $40 this week, an incredible investment to be sure!
10. 2010 Razor Rookie Retro Boxes & Cases

Comments: As with any Razor product, there has been a fair share of questions surrounding it but now that its out, it is moving. One box will cost you over $220!
A moment of silence for:
Stephen Strasburg cards, I can’t even bring myself to put a picture there.
