Triple Threads might be the most controversial product that Topps produces. It’s fans are always wildly supportive and its haters are always bashing it because they hate the concept. I am somewhere in the middle of the two groups.
I think that this product gives us a lot to love. I love the high end fold outs, the cut signatures of guys like Landry and Lombardi, as well as the overall appeal of the rookie autographs included in this product.
What I do not like is the hit-and-miss nature of this product. There are all kinds of awful mistakes in this product, such as it’s tendancy to want to spell things out in stenciled jersey letters. Seriously, this is something that is over done and was lame to begin with.
But like most products you get some good, and some bad. If you can get past the lameness that is the stenciled out lettering then sure this product is well worth the rip. If that bugs you, then this product is not for you. Our box was a bit disappointing as we missed on our autograph hit and got a rookie with little hype. The Matt Stafford is nice though.

Definetely out of my price range. Like it’s been said, it’s hit or miss, and I can’t afford to miss. LOL
Topps triple threads has always been a hit or miss product. But you have to love the look and the allure of hitting a really nice patch. This product was the biggest thing when it made it’s debut in baseball and has done well ever since in all 3 sports. When doing a sticker auto this is the way to do it.
I’ve bought several boxes this year and have gotten killed(several Pat White autos and plain rookie triple jersey cards, not at all like baseball.
Every box I’ve seen has either been awesome or aweful!
the cards are pretty sweet. never opened a box of triple threads from any sport but i cant wait till one day i pull the trigger. ive seen it all over the place when it comes to the hits so i would like to b one of the lucky ones to pull something outrageous from it.
Triple Threads is amazing! I think the fact that there are some “bad” hits make the “good” hits even better!
I am a fan of Triple Threads after opening a box in 07. Could it have been better, sure, but this year was much better than I expected.

I have purchased 3 boxes of Triple Threads in the past. I always walked away wishing I had just purchased the card I wanted. I LOVE the hits in this product, I am just never lucky enough to pull one. BTW, A Lions fan would like your box!

I have always thought that this set had a nice design, but the secondary market for it just doesn’t exist…
